The Word Nerd Co-op

August Draws to an End

Filed under: TCB — Beverly @ 8:48 am

I second the call for updates!

I’ve been a bit of a word nerd drop out myself.  Lots of good work in July, but August has been “meh” for me–I’ve focussed on other aspects of my life instead of integrating the writing as much as I should.  Rather than kick myself, though, I’ll just start fresh with the beginning of the new semester and my new schedule.

I wanted to remind everyone that the final package to your partner should go out by next week or so–I’d love to see pictures of what people have sent, too!

So…does anyone want a new round that would start in October?  I know fall is a busy time of year, but I’ll make matches if you all want partners.  Leave a comment or let us know what you think in a post.  And, hey, thanks for joining in this little experiment of mine!

  1. While my partner and I hope to continue our writing relationship .. I’d love another round! While we both sorta dropped out (yet kept in touch with each other) I have benefited IMMENSELY from this go. From the nudges and encouragement to the new-to-me writing books. It’s been priceless. Thank you Beverly!

  2. I would love another go-around. I think it would be great. I will post a photo of the gifts I have received thus far later today if that helps get the ball rolling.

    What a great idea Beverly.

I better get a move on that final gift for this month.

  3. My partner and I have exchanged many ideas, and gifts (of course!) – I’d like another round, especially if I want to attempt NaNoWriMo. (Yes, it would be cheating if I were to use the same project – but I’ve cheated before. It’s not a sin if I don’t “officially” join, right?)
